Louise is a communications specialist, entrepreneur, and advocate for women, mothers, and families. In 2012, she launched Beyond the School Run — the award-winning platform connecting mothers to opportunities, inspiration, and connections, while helping companies become more inclusive workplaces.
The platform has been named one of the “Top 58 British Tech Startups” by Business Insider UK, been invited to 10 Downing Street twice, and Louise was awarded “Britain's Top Real Role Model” in 2014. She's also the author of A New Way for Mothers, published in the USA.
Beyond School was born from a simple belief: when we unlock our natural talents, we unlock the potential to change the world and our own lives. We're here for young people at every stage — from students figuring out what's next, to graduates and young professionals.
Beyond School, the next chapter of the WeAreBeyond Group, began in the summer of 2025, when Louise brought together a team of passionate interns from the UK and Canada. Together, they built the foundations of Beyond School, launching in October 2025.
Beyond School is part of WeAreBeyond Global — an ecosystem creating spaces, online and offline, designed to unlock the potential of mothers and young people. Beyond School and our sister platform, Beyond the School Run, share that same belief — they just serve different people, at different stages of life.
